English Sourdough Crumpets (pack of 8 - frozen)
English sourdough crumpets are sort of halfway between a muffin and a pancake. They are softer and sweeter than a muffin but are more firm and substantial than a pancake. They are the size of a muffin and make wonderful breakfast/brunch dishes. Top them with butter and jam for a delightful treat. Or make a full breakfast sandwich by adding cheese and egg. These are made with a large quantity of sourdough starter so have a fairly strong sweet/sour flavor that enhances nearly anything you top them with.
